An exceedingly rare tree tomato species. Found naturally growing in hot bolivian mountain forests. It is also frost tolerant. Tree is medium height or semi dwarf reaching 7 feet or so. Foliage is a striking dark purple. Plants with bright colored fruits are highly ornamental as well as delicious.
