Another amazing myrtle. This tree species is abundant in the colder regions of chile and Argentina but is adaptable to most climates. Luma is a beautiful tree with peeling red bark, copious swaths of fragrant cream flowers followed by delicious little berries which are especially sweet from this selection. The tree can grow down to at least 10F degrees and is less tolerant of extreme heat. Very ornamental as a hedge or freestanding and it gives you food to boot!
